Space Needle

Being my first trip to Seattle, I had to visit the Space Needle. It was mandatory. And occasionally, I do what I’m supposed to so I went.

I’m glad I did! The weather was perfect and the view from a little over 500′ up was spectacular. Seattle and the surrounding area is quite beautiful and I was glad to see it from such a great vantage point.

After visiting the Needle, we walked over to nearby KeyArena where were going to see the Seattle Storm. We did see the game, but, alas, I’ve no pictures to show for it. I was not allowed to take my camera into the arena. My photos would do no harm and might even cause a few friends to go see a WNBA game. The worst part is I checked the Storm and WNBA and Arena websites ahead of time and couldn’t find anything saying cameras were prohibited. I certainly enjoyed the game, but I really hated the policy.
