Virginia May Issue Anti-Gay License Tags

According to 356gay.com, Delegate Scott Ligamfelter, a Republican representing the 31st district has authored a bill that would have new Virginia license tags displaying interlocking gold rings over a red heart above the text “Traditional Marriage”.

If passed – and unfortunately, given the hate mongers that represent most of the state it probably will – then the state would use it’s citizens’ vehicles to promote it’s message of hate and intolerance. Mr. Ligamfelter must be told that his bigotry does not represent all Virginians and that we will not tolerate such action from our legislature.
