The cicadas were amazing. At their peak, the noise from them was this amazing high pitch wine that sounded like something from a science fiction movie.

And they were everywhere. They would fly into people and generally make their presence known. They didn’t bite or sting or anything destructive (to people anyway) but they sure did make get everyone’s attention.
