Winterfest 2007

Each year VWS holds it’s annual hamfest. This year the weather gods put the “winter” into “winterfest”.

Not that we haven’t had bad weather before. It seems like we have bad weather most years, actually. But the forecast for Winterfest morning was sleet and freezing rain and though that never materialized, it kept people away. When the snow moved in, it seemed to be the final nail in the attendance coffin.

Those who showed up seemed to have a good time and the VWS crew who staffed the event seemed to weather the day with good cheer.

I only managed a few photos. I’m not sure whether it was the weather, lack of sleep, or staffing the book table most of the day that limited the number of photos, but there aren’t too many.
