Winterfest VE Session 2007

It’s that time of year again. These are the photos from the VE Session the day before Winterfest.

We weren’t sure just how many people would come out to be tested since this was just after the rule change the totally eliminated the morse code requirement. As it turned out, there was a big turn out! Around 60 people got tested including those who only needed paper upgrades (those who had completed the written portion of the general class test but hadn’t yet taken or passed the old morse code requirement).

Looks like there’s going to be a bunch of new folks on the HF bands in the next few days!
