Skywarn Recognition Day 2005

Every year, in December, Skywarn Recognition Day is held. This event allows hams to try to make contact wth many of the National Weather Service operations around the country.
I drove out to the nearest NWS office to hang out with the hams, operate a bit and snap a few photos. I missed the 2004 event and I could only stay a few hours this time, but it’s always fun to see what’s going on out there. The weather was cold, but nicer than 2003 when it was etremely cold and snow was on the ground.
