Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center

Virginia Beach is a long way to go for a day trip. It’s 3 1/2 hours there and 3 1/2 hours back. But, when one of your friends is a sharkophile and just has to see the Sharks Imax film…well, you suddenly find yourself in Virginia Beach.

Fortunately, it was a nice day and the drive was pleasant. The Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center is an interesting place to spend the afternoon. We only had three hours there before it closed and I’d have liked a little more time but we got
to see everything, though quickly for some bits.

Photographically, it was very challenging because it was very dim. Of the 238 photos I shot, I pruned them down to sixy or so and even more really need pruning.
