Aurora

Aurorae are rarely visible in Virginia. I’ve only seen two and this was the brightest though still dim by northern standards.

Doug and I drove out to Skyline Drive thinking that would provide a dark enough sky to see the aurora better. It did help, but it was cold up there. It was worth it, though! Going to have to go north to really see an aurora one day.
