July Skyline Drive Visit

A July 4th drive out to Skyline Drive and a short hike to the Stony Man Mountain Overlook.

It was a hot, hazy day and a sudden thunderstorm descended upon us at the Overlook. We got about halfway back up the trail toward the car before it started to rain. Fortunately, the trees overhead protectred us from most of it.
